Did you all pickup that the new E100 120 will have a New Backing Paper? Better storage properties.

I think all Kodak 120 films have switched over to the new (shiny) backing paper.

Kodak isn't Ilford...

Yes... but it's usually 10 sheet boxes when it comes to Kodak and 8x10. If they are going to box 10 sheets only, then bugger it.

Freestyle minimum shipping UPS ground domestic USA is 9.99 USD. Unique selling pro packs of 120 59.95 plus shipping. I'm not in a hurry at 13 dollars a roll.

The one UK supplier I can find so far has this listed on pre-order for £62 a pro-pack.

I pre-ordered one, but there's no way I'll be using this regularly if it remains at that price. Not when I can get 10 rolls of Provia 100F for £70.

In my opinion glassless 67 slide mounts are not very suitable because the format is just to big. I have several boxes of 67 glass slide mounts that I reserve for the better shots. My glassless 67 mounts I use for temporary projection during the selection process.

I'm very interested in the prospect of E6 chemistry availability from KA. Makes me curious if Kodak Alaris will make a full on 7 bath offering or a 4 bath kit, or both as they did before. I love processing reversal film, that's the best part.

Don't think I'll be buying any 120 at 70.00 a 5pk from B&H. Too much.

I got an email from Cinestill (I took part in their 120 format fund raiser) and they are asking for $50 for a pro pack. Supposedly $7 off from $57.

Great news! But not for me. Unless they bring back Ilfochrome and slash the price of both in half, I won't have any use for it.

I'm waiting for my 35mm test roll to come back before ordering any 4x5. I sold off all my 8x10 chrome film a couple years ago due to having switched to Ektar color neg. But if the neutrality of this new Ektachrome is good enough, I might consider it in 8X10 again. Polyester base is essential to my printing needs, because acetate is not dimensionally stable and won't stay in register with masks. Ektar is great, but there are certain lighting situations it struggles with. And I love the way you instantly know what you've got when you slap a chrome atop a lightbox.

How are you going to print it?

I should receive my 120 pre-order by the 27th. May try and shoot a roll over the xmas break.

Hopefully they will produce some 5x7.
You can buy 5x7 Ektachrome. All that's necessary is convincing enough other 5x7 shooters to do the same so Kodak Alaris' minimum order quantity is met. Keith Canham has already posted about this:
