Found this on Instagram today;

Photo caption says:

“ROCHESTER, N.Y. Dec 10, 2019 – Kodak Alaris today announced the launch of EKTACHROME E100 in larger formats. A new 120 format 5-roll propack and a new 10 sheet 4x5 box will be available to order within the next 10 days, worldwide.
These new format offerings follow on the highly successful launch of EKTACHROME E100 in 135-36x size last year. “Our new E100 film is a big hit with photographers of all ages” said Dennis Olbrich, President – Kodak Alaris Imaging Paper, Photo Chemicals and Film. “The market response has been tremendous. Adding 120 and sheet films takes us to the next level.””

Finally!

Good news!

However, I am not able to see such information at their instagram site, only two photos including the type 120 box, no written information at all.

Wow... I never thought I’d live to see the day...

Woooo great news I just used my first box of LF ektachrome (expired) and I was dreaming of getting more! I can't wait to try fresh 4x5!

Please tell me the results don't actually look like those samples?

Look forward to trying some in 120 & 4x5. Surprised about the 10 sheet box of 4x5. I wonder if they meant to say 20 sheet box there.

Fuji sells their film in 20 sheet boxes. At least in the States Kodak sells sheet film in 10 sheet quantities. Not sure why, I think they should increase it to 20 or 25. But then the price would be higher too. Those $300+ dollar boxes of 8x10 Provia put a hurt on your bank account.

Fantastic! And it looks like it will be possible to order it before the rumored Jan 1 price increase too!

I totally agree. The $85 a box for 20 ea. 4x5 Provia does not sound too bad comparatively. Although most of my 4x5 is overseas Velvia 50 at $100-$150 a box......UGH !.

If you look at Kodak Alaris website they are promising E6 chemistry and control strips soon as well! 120 is on Estar polyester base!

You have had a year to try the film in formats from Super 8 to 35mm still. If you haven't seen the results yet, that's on you.

Was more just stating that their promo photos look like 90s magazines in color palette - I'm positive that that's from the poor scanning

Good news !

Great news, indeed!!

Maybe Canham Cameras can do a special order. Their website says the can special order any size sheet film Kodak produces.

Wow... I never thought I’d live to see the day...
