Anyone check Eastman Kodak's stock price lately? It's up 50% in the last 3 months! That's waaay above average performance. I wonder what is going on with their business to warrant such a huge increase in stock price.

Not sure it's film related but still interesting to see the health of the parent company of Kodak Alaris doing well.

As a shareholder and lover of their films, it certainly makes me happy

Yes, it's unfortunate but their revenues are actually down more than 10% this quarter compared to last year this time

lol.....It might have something to do with a 5 pack of tmy costing $40.......not too long ago it was $21.....

Since December of 2016 Kodak (KODK) has dropped from 17 USD / share to 5.45 USD. Insiders dumped their stock 1st qtr. of this year. Stock is being accumulated by hedge funds. Could be broken up?
Best Mike

LOL
i was thinking its probably because a 50 sheet box of 4x5 tmax is like 100-140$

Kodak stock is in the basement. When the market cap. gets this low don't be surprised if it gets bought out, goes private and gets broken up. To me this is scary.

Not directly relevent, but just browsing around the Eastman Kodak website (from UK) and I cannot find any reference at all to consumer or professional film (i.e. 120 or 35mm). A lot of gimmicky (IMHO) stuff, though. And not really a very exciting or well-presented site.

Look at the Kodak Alaris website instead.

We have a Kodak Popping thread and now a separate Kodak Tanking thread. Might it make sense to combine as say; Kodak popping in 2016, now tanking in Autumn 2017 or some such title as the popping thread has metamorphosed into a tanking thread but we already have a tanking thread.

I'll stop writing now as my above paragraph is beginning to sound like a Monty Python sketch :D

Just a thought

...

Kodak stock price not looking so good over the past 12 months:

Kodak's stock price has shown good resistance to falling below $5/share. However, tomorrow Kodak reports earnings and if the news is not good, that support level may give way. Remember, there is a very large number of shares of this stock being held short, which is a bet that they are going to go down in price. Who will win, the share holders or the short sellers??

Yes Sir! Great time to buy Kodak, GE, IBM, JC Penny, and Sears! Load up now!
