There is an E.G.&G sensitometer on ebay right now if anyone is interested
Which eBay? eBay in the USA, eBay in Germant, eBay in ????
Just a reminder that this is an international forum, and items listed on eBay in one country are not necessarily immediately found across the world.
FWIW, if you have no connection with the listing or the seller, we have no objection to your sharing the link.
Ok I guess - if you have the skills to bring it to spec / calibrate.
I got mine on e-bay. Mine needed a new flash tube, other than that it works fine.
This is the Mouser page from 2007 when I ordered the lamp. "C" for $15.17.How much was the flash tube ?
I'd be wary - "Sold for parts or repair." The photos show a number of wires running over the case of the instrument and held in place with duct tape - so it has been modified and you will either have to remove the modifications or figure out their purpose. The 'negative carrier' (??) is loose: missing screws; not installed correctly; or broke? OTOH it seems to be pretty simple with only a flash tube, power supply and some switches.
You can do 'good enough' sensitometery with a step tablet and an enlarger (or other timed light source).
The device has no adjustments for calibration, other than ND filter.
Did anyone on this site buy the E.G. & G. sensitometer that was recently on eBay ?
