Drum Scanner for Medium Format Negatives?

Flatbed scanner's light source is a reflected light. When scanning films with a flatbed scanner the sensor reads the reflected light through the film.

They don't read reflected light from film. Flatbeds that can also scan transparent materials have light source in the lid and use that light source to shine light through film, same as "dedicated" film scanners.
