Domke F-8 and F-10 info needed

Hi, Does any one have either one of these bags and can you answer a few questions for me? On the F-8 how is the main compartment laid out? Tiffen says there is one adjustable insert and that it can be used to divide up the space into three compartments. Does this mean that there's a divider sewn in as in the F-3x? Is this why the main compartment dimensions are given as 6.5" x 3.75"? I wish Tiffen would do a better job at illustrating their products. Next, looking at the picture of the F-10 the overall dimension is 11.5" but I notice the bag tapers at the bottom. Again, is this just Tiffin's illustration or does the bag actually have a taper? Unfortunately, there aren't any photo stores in my area that carry Domke so whatever help you guys can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks, Sal

Can't comment on your questions directly but, get a bag with more than 1 divider, and if the picture is tapered at the bottom then that is how it is and the dimension is for the largest end. Bags are very personal. I went looking for Tenba, Domke, LowePro for my Hasselblad. I need to carry the camera, another lens, light meter and film..etc. I rejected the Domke, did not like the metal old style catches..hard to open and work single handed, but safe/strong. I have a LowePro and none of them or the Tenba was what I wanted. At the other end of the store there were Bellingham bags..real expensive. So I decided to give up and then I found the Crumpler, kind of odd, different colors and I ended up with a version called "6 million dollar house" (tons of dividers)..they have 7 million or bazillion dollars if you need larger. I guess their marketing is based on house value and size. You must be a little jealous of my selection, Glazers in Seattle. It's worth it to drive a few hours into a neighboring city and get what you want. I brought the 'blad and accessories and configured the bag on the floor.
