It's interesting to fellow maniacs... and a hell of a lot more interesting than the topic - whining about a magnificent camera which needs a bit of maintenance.
A light discussion about firearms becomes a mania. I'd rather gun owners be maniacal about the knowledge of guns than be ignorant.
Never the less I see a lot of parallels in photography and firearms. Film photography even more so. Many of the skills cross over from one MANIACAL OBSESSION to the other MANIACAL OBSESSION.
Most people on this forum own a few different cameras in a few different formats. Most gun owners own a few different firearms in a few different formats. Whether a 110, 127, 135, 120, 220, 4x5, 8x10 or SLR, viewfinder, rangefinder, TLR, guessfinder, pinhole, or .22, .22LR, .38, 9mm, 357, .303, 30-06, .50, 20mm, 105mm, rifle, pistol, canon, carbine.
I am an enthusiast of both hobbies and am not yet institutionalized.
