I just took an inventory of all the film I’ve collected and found a big roll in a bag that has no identification markings. Put it in a changing bag and took a snip to check it out and it’s very pink/purple. Looks like I bought a roll of Plus-X on eBay back in 2010 so thinking maybe this is it but it’s on a larger than usual (for 100’ bulk film) center spool and the base seems rather thin.

If you can, take a snip out in the dark, then develop it, and read the edge printing.
Otherwise though, yes it looks like it could be Plus-X.
I'll let the cine film users comment on the sprockets.

Yesss! Plus x

Plus-x was greenish, and then pink.

Or vice versa. But this strikes me as Plus-x.

I’ll process a strip with another roll and see what comes up. If it is Plus-X (fingers crossed), the next trick will be getting it into a bulk loader. This roll is larger than a normal 100' roll since the core is larger. Any tips here?

if it is plus -x, it might be 5231 movie Plus-x which is now sadly discontinued. Movie film has teh B&H perfs, and also might likly be found on a 2 inch diamerter core with a 1 inch hole.

Sadly, no edge markings but here's the processed strip. There does seem to be a stripe down a portion of the side, and the base looks very clear, almost like an ortho film. I have Kodak orhto film though and the emulsion color is vastly different.

I currently have some Kodalith 6556 in 35mm and the emulsion is a dark almost wine-like red. I used a TON of Kodalith in college though, so it wouldn't surprise me but I also don't recall it being so purple.

I still say this is plus-x, my favorite film.
As I said before, I remember it being Green, and Pink.

I'm going to try and hand roll a chunk into a canister soon. I'll shoot it from 6 to 400 and we'll see what comes out.

Tmz is extra pink as well. Do you recall having purchased some? Tmz = tmax 3200

I've never bought TMZ knowingly. I did buy a lot of film here and on eBay back in the early teens and this must have come from one of those two places. It also seems to have the 2" core. It's definitely not a normal 1" core that would fit in any of my bulk loaders. The non-tinted base might suggest it's some sort of projection film or lithographic film as suggested above. It just doesn't look like the other lithographic film I currently have.
