Very similar to my Zion waterfall shot (above). Without a polarizer -- in that specific situation -- all you capture is GLARE. With a polarizer -- if the glare is at the correct angle -- you can get the water to "magically" appear. That looks MUCH more natural -- and you can control how much glare you want to remove, if you want to keep some "sparkle".
