I've used DD-X and like it a great deal but like many others have commented, I just found it too costly to use on a regular basis. Xtol has been a good alternative and I've been happy with the results but I also use D76. It's a good, all-round developer. It's hard to go wrong with it other than once it's mixed it doesn't last more than a few months.
Hi Adrian. Say, are you using the Astropaq clear bags that go into the box or the stand alone opaque ones with holes at the top for fingers? Is that accessory the u shaped plastic stand? I'm really liking these and just may pull the trigger. I don't want to mess with a bunch of different bottles. Thanks!
