I'd like to buy an IR Goggle setup and was looking for any recommendations on what to buy. I'd also like to know if those who've been using this method are still doing so and if you're happy with it.

I've read a lot of posts but they are fairly old. Any current pros and cons would be very helpful.

It sounds very exciting and I'm looking forward to doing it.

Thanks

I use DBI only for difficult exposures (High contrast ratio's etc) to make certain I at least get an image. Time and Temp works just fine with normal lighting ratios. The night vision goggle is marginly better if at all than a green safe light. Unless you are making some major errors in exposing your
film, you really shouldent need to use DBI. The same amount of money spent on a good meter and an accurate shutter is a better investment than a device that seldom is necessary to use and spends the majority of it's life stored away in a drawer. The night vision device seems to be the hot gadget of the day right now. Save your $$'s and buy film.

My opinion.............

Hi Bobby, this is one of my favorite darkroom tools. I have some recent updates and info in this thread. I have an ATN goggle and other accessories such as an IR light table. Check my latest posts in this thread:
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Good luck!
