I was looking into this stuff, they claim to block 97% UV. I might just go for it and do a fogging test. I'll be working with Kallitypes mainly.

Here is a picture of the window and the space. I just finished the floor with a layer of concrete and epoxy, insulated walls and ceiling, louver on door opposite to the opened window. Now I'm waiting for the roller shades. Safelight is on the opposite side of the window. Very simple setup so far.

I try not to waste daylight in a darkroom, That's what night was made for. Well, one of the things.

This is way too clean and organized. You'll never make any art in that kind of environment.

I know. :D

I'm slowly moving things in. I just installed UV blocking film in two of the windows. Need to cover the ceiling with panels (I don't want the insulation to absorb fumes) which is partially done, and need to figure how to get air moving out to that window (right). Air is coming in opposite to that window. I think I'm going to build something that I can place in front of the window supported by a shelf that will run right below the three windows.

I had no idea something like this would work. Might have to be choosy on the time of day here in Az though. It gets seriously bright.

I've got a TV in my darkroom, might try this on the screen so I can watch/listen to my shows.
