Haha the drive would be a bit much, I met up for a hand delivery to get it though! I have to apologize for the 2nd pic I took though. It was after a really interesting conversation over the subject of analog photography and this Camera 8 project, just after 3 bars and 6-7 pints.

I was tempted to shoot a 3rd pic to make up for it, but rules are rules. lol

I always prefer to call in well. Why waste a sick day at home when I could be out shooting? Besides, if I'm feeling miserable, why not at least get paid for it.

Company I work for? They would send someone over to collect the carcass to use in the cafeteria for lunch.

Funny thing is, I get 80 hours a year for sick time, but there is no way to claim it unless you schedule it.

It's suspicious putting in for sick time tomorrow. So when I am sick (or not), a simply email my boss and everything is cool. Just don't abuse it.

You have to schedule sick time? That's absurd. That's a decision made by bean counters, not someone with an operational clue.
We get PTO (paid time off), which is calculated by a week of sick/personal days plus however much vacation you get per year (calculation based on years with the company).
I need to put in another year and a half to hit the 15 year mark, giving me another week of annual PTO.

I had never expected things to move this fast. Despite all warnings from Sile, I was away on holiday. I'm back, I've sent my details to polyglot, things can get moving again.

Edit: I see my decision to go away on holiday was correct; it's not yet my turn to get camera 8.2.

And now, back to our regular program!
