Not a problem. When the camera gets here, I'll pop down to Frye's and get a replacement. Perhaps the one you put in was too old?

Just observing this round... S&S are doing a fine job running this trip. But letting the inmates make the decisions? It's gonna be interesting.

What ever happened to our Brazilian shooter?

Thank you, sir!

As long as we follow Sile's basic rules about contacting and confirming the next recipient, it could go to the moon for all I care!

But you raise a great point, Tim. So I will make up the new (revised) lists, and we'll stick to them. Basically:

Camera one (Nikon) goes East to West in Canada before ending up with MattKing in BC, then down to Washington and then back to me in NY for processing.

Camera two (Canon) goes from Polyglot in Australia to you (Tim in San Jose), then the U.S. tour, and then from Semeuse in Florida to pcyco in Austria for the final European round before ending up with Sile for processing.

Revised lists to follow shortly! Thanks all!

No need to worry about the battery for Camera 2 - I've already replaced it! It was practically dead from the camera being on all week so needed to be replaced ASAP.

We are absolutely ROCKIN' with Camera 1!!

Just received word from MA Longmore that it was transferred by hand to rcam72!! Is that a first for APUG travelling cameras? Does anyone know?

Way to go Ron & Raul! Let's keep things rolling!

My apologies Shelia. I thought I hit the reply button on your confirming email in May. Looks like the fun has started ... should be a fun trip. Looking forward to those chicken recipes and pics!.

Sorry Shawn, but the Washington contingent were able to toss the last camera over the fence at each other once Matt hand-carried it down from BC. Looks like we'll be doing the same again.

Oh no. The order has been changed back to the same as when it was lost last time. Perhaps I should hand deliver it to Mr Black Dog.

Steve.

I think that would be best.

Just received confirmation from polygot, the camera (8.2) should be in the mail in the next day or two.

Excellent news!!

And thank you so much for new revised geographically friendly list Shawn.. Shall we laminate that list for once and for all? No changes anymore!!*

Looking back on the list now it does appear I've somehow left out focus no 9 and our Brazilian.. And that can't happen so as we move along we'll have to include them (sorry Shawn can we unlaminate the list for a sec?)!! This is what happens when you rush.. They were in there at some point.. Maybe they just can't sit still....*

Congrats on the hand to hand cross over.. There were a couple last time on the racing and ultimately lost cameras.. It's such a pity we can't do it for all pass overs.. Though it's a bit far between some of the journeys so I think the pagN sacrifices will have to be postally focused from now on!

That's close enough for me but isn't it a bit far for you? (unless you have moved south).

Superb! Can you confirm if you've exchanged PM's already?

We're aiming to get this one home in record time!

Yes we are planning to meet on Sunday, as Raul is free then. I am trying to get it out to Rick in the coming week so he has it before July 4th.

Superb. Another hand-to-hand exchange!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could line it up like this for the for the whole roll? Maybe for a future project...:D

You could just get one really big bed.

Camera 8.1 picked up by Steve (Newt on Swings). It seems like Camera 1 is the more social of the two cameras. It brings people together, maybe it should run for office.
