Haha the drive would be a bit much, I met up for a hand delivery to get it though! I have to apologize for the 2nd pic I took though. It was after a really interesting conversation over the subject of analog photography and this Camera 8 project, just after 3 bars and 6-7 pints.

I was tempted to shoot a 3rd pic to make up for it, but rules are rules. lol

Whens camera 9 coming?

I always prefer to call in well. Why waste a sick day at home when I could be out shooting? Besides, if I'm feeling miserable, why not at least get paid for it.

Company I work for? They would send someone over to collect the carcass to use in the cafeteria for lunch.

Funny thing is, I get 80 hours a year for sick time, but there is no way to claim it unless you schedule it.

It's suspicious putting in for sick time tomorrow. So when I am sick (or not), a simply email my boss and everything is cool. Just don't abuse it.

You have to schedule sick time? That's absurd. That's a decision made by bean counters, not someone with an operational clue.
We get PTO (paid time off), which is calculated by a week of sick/personal days plus however much vacation you get per year (calculation based on years with the company).
I need to put in another year and a half to hit the 15 year mark, giving me another week of annual PTO.

Super! That's five in a little more than two weeks! And I know John is going to get it off to Matthew in Maryland quickly as well. We are just blazing through this round!

This is all going far too smoothly!

As for sick leave.. ha.. I work for a bunch of doctors.. you have to be practically dying to get time off...

Which reminds me of the joke about the two old women in the doctors' surgery waiting room. One says "I didn't see you here yesterday" and the other replies "no, I couldn't come, I was ill".

I had never expected things to move this fast. Despite all warnings from Sile, I was away on holiday. I'm back, I've sent my details to polyglot, things can get moving again.

"We apologise for the delay!"

Edit: I see my decision to go away on holiday was correct; it's not yet my turn to get camera 8.2.

And now, back to our regular program!

kraker: sorry we revised the order while you were away, but with the way things are going, hopefully we can have the camera back to Europe in a few weeks. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!

While we are on the subject of this camera (Camera 8.2), can polyglot or tim in san jose please chime in and tell us where this camera is? Is it on it's way to Tim?
