Early in the AM, very foggy. Hand held may have been a little too ambitious. This the the remains of an old dam on the Assiniboine River, pretty much right in the center of Brandon, Manitoba. This location is very close to the spot where I photographed the unicorn, which unfortunately we won't get to see, as Camera 7 was lost.

I've only just had a chance to look at all the photo's from both cameras and I love them.. I love how they are so different even though subject matters are similar in certain shots.. they are very different.

See this is why I love all this insanity.. it's worth it in the end

I'm not sure if this is mine - there's the problem of number 11, which I know is not mine (looks vaguely familiar - I bet it's Chris', somewhere around Chattanooga, TN), between this and #10. Did the images get posted out of reverse order? This does very much look like the road out to Lake O.

I agree - great job everybody. And it does give us all something to talk about around the chicken pyre

Yes they did.. I started at the end and worked my way back.. Let's face it.. any old fool can do it the right way ....:sideways:

MartinB was kind enough to meet me at a nearby pub for the handover and even more kind to allow me to make this portrait.

I was sure that my attempt to correct for parallax from the close distance had failed and that half of Martin would be out of the frame. What a pleasant surprise to see this image in focus and in frame.

Some bar on 2nd ave in the east village. Conversation about the camera popped up and this was snapped. Looks like the only time flash was used on this roll. Isaac, Shannon and pbrs.

P.B.R. me A.S.A.P.

Guilty as charged. I'm #11 and #13 on the Canon. I was wondering about the order too. I'll go back and clarify, as they're from different parts of the state.
Has it really been 2.5+ months since I've logged in? Apparently so. My life has been so chaotic, I've not logged in here til tonight. I haven't been in my darkroom in months. I'm hoping to change that Sunday night! In the meantime, I'm tipping two fingers of Maker's Mark to not letting the bastards grind me down.
Count me in for Camera #9 (if it isn't too late) and all future projects whenever, wherever. My email still works, even when I'm not on here.

Abandoned apartment building near downtown Chattanooga, TN (right by the baseball field).
I see this deteriorating landmark from the highway every time I drive into town. It was interesting to take a detour and pull up in front of it. I was standing on the back of my truck bed cover to get this shot over the chain link fence (that you can't see below the photo).

Semeuse,
Many thanks for this pleasant reminder. It's a good trigger to remember how dramatic the clouds can be and how quickly they can change the light when storms come rolling in. While I don't miss all the nonsense of life in Miami, I do remember fondly my time spent in the less populated and surrounding areas such as this. Living in Port St Lucie was a lot better quality of life than dealing with all the yahoos an hour or so south.

Knox Presbyterian Church, Milton, ON, Canada. :D

When this was shot, the church was going through some needed repair and renovation to not only secure the roof and walls from collapsing but restoring our Sanctuary. I am pleased to say that this has been completed, the fence is down, and we're worshiping in the space again.

Woah, there are photos!? I'd totally given up on both the cameras and the quantity of waffle in this thread about six months ago! Nice to see them all come out, though I'm not sure I really wanted to own up to mine (8.1.26). I thought I shot a second but don't recognise it there.

Anyway, those scans are really awful, yellow & noisy. If you guys want to send me the negs I'll run them through my 8000 and post higher-quality jpegs for all.
