Splitting this large thread. The original can be found here: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Original thread post below (by Síle)

Though I sincerely believe that I should be institutionalised immediately upon posting of this thread..

Who's in?

PS It's the sureshot.. and I think we need to cap it at 15 - 20 participants?

Welcome to our little part of the asylum Sean.

And someday officially transfer ownership of the group to Sile or me. Not that it is that big a deal. We work just fine *L* over here.

We have about 20 people a camera, two cameras. Twice as many headaches but twice as much fun.

Now sacrifice a chicken on the barbie for us.

And let us know if you ever want to join in the fun. We haven't had anyone from down under in awhile.

A chicken is destined for the oven tonight. Probably BBQ'd

Sounds about right for where we are now.

Is there a chicken sign that we're under today? I attempted arroz con pollo tonight. Still needs some work. Who else had poultry for dinner?

Perfect. We win... I mean, we get our camera home!

Steve.

Believe me, at this point, any camera home is a WIN.

BTW - there is a leftover sacrificial beercan chicken sitting on my desk waiting for lunch time to arrive. It would be nice if this round was over before I start eating.

Just had an image flash through my mind of a chicken with a beer can rammed up its posterior. And complaining about it.

I think I'll have a ham sandwich for lunch.

To be honest, it was Dr. Pepper Chicken, not that it matters much what is in the can, the chicken tastes the same. The chicken doesn't seem to mind what I shove up it's butt, at least one has never complained.

Now... the pig was annoyed.

The fear of divorce lawyers keep a lot of men from speaking their mind.
I applaud you.

I am after Simplicius as Tim rightly said.. I do know he travels about a bit so I'll send him a message on facebook and see if he's in Dublin and ready willing and able..It looks like our baby is coming home...

My laptop has gone the way of many chickens, turkeys and other foul we have met along our way.. so I'm a tad slow in my responses.. but if it helps that I've sacrificed a laptop in this endeavor.. then it shall not have died in vain..

How did it taste? Did you put BBQ sauce on it?

I would send the camera to Sile and if Sim is around, he can make the effort to collect the camera and shoot his photo. I mean... Ireland isn't that big is it?

*gasp*
You mean there's hope for a Camera 9? Hot damn! I can't wait to see photos from the 8's!
How's the one wandering in the US coming along? Did anyone who passed off the camera attempt to get it back?
Irish persistence seems to work. I think some of that is due here in the Pacific NW.

On a side note, thanks to Sean for fixing the link to the second half of this thread from "My Posts"!

Both Camera 8s will complete.

Start thinking about what is going to make Camera 9 special.

I liked the theme idea (Camera #6). We should revisit that. A single word gives the ability to interpret and create an image with so many different possible results.

I had thought about sending the 8x10 Deardorff around but then realized it is my ONLY 8x10 camera and could not afford to be with out it.
