i just won 10 rolls of konica 160 film. I don't really know why I bid on it, it's very expired and I am not really into the look of expired film. What can I do with it, is it even a nice film? would anyone want to trade something for it? fingers moving quicker than the brain!

so you have "U.B.S." too?

(uncontrollabe bidding syndrome)

thankfully, now I give myself AT LEAST a day to think something over before bidding. But I'm only successful at that 10% of the time .

i have tons of expired konica 160 220 in the freezer; very good film. i shoot it all the time, weddings/portraits, at box speed or 125, depending on light. Was your film frozen?

Can I suggest auctionstealer as a remedy to UBS? It allows you to cancel your bid right up to the last, without anyone being any the wiser. Many a time Ihave had second thoughts the day after!!

Try a roll...if it has been frozen, it may very well be O.K. I have about a dozen Konica 160 dated 2004 in the freezer, which I'm gradually using up, and they are fine, can't see any difference from new.

I get into serious trouble with my better half. She gets really annoyed that whenever I get home I'm straight on the computer before I do anything else. She thinks I'm a computer addict. This isn't true - I have to keep going on the computer to hide the email trail for all the stuff I keep bidding for on eBay. Especially the stuff I win. If she found out about that, she'd be REALLY ***** off ^_^

...should be another bargain arriving any day, now.

Steven - what you really need is a small son or daughter, just old enough to receive any packets when the postman rings, and hide them away until Daddy arrives home.

funny, my dad and mum think the same about me . Especially recently(since I've been selling things on here and craigslist). I'm on the email, or on the phone, calling and received mail/messages all day long. I'm at the P.O./fedex/UPS store almost daily at each location. Its fun . But when you have school to pay for(where most of the $$$ I'm getting is going to pay for), you can't really spend all that much $$$ on the fun stuff.

but when I mow the lawn, they stop :D, at least for a few days...

I have a bunch of old Kodak Gold that someone gave me - room temp stored and several years out of date - it's still good enough for testing out the cameras I bid for on ebay but shouldn't.
