D. 96 with the replenisher

Io use the normal D.96 for develop Cinestill 200, IT work well but I would like to know if using the replenisher guarantees consistency in the result.

D96 is… not expansive. I use it one shot and mix it as I go.

Getting Hydroquinone shipped is impossible in the 50th state, so it would be very helpful if 'CineStill' could offer the replenisher alongside their packaged D 96. You may not prefer using it replenished but I do.

Seems to me it should be possible alright to get hydroquinone shipped to Hawaii, but I can imagine it's not cost-effective for small end-user quantities.

It is because of the stupid shipping regulations meant to prevent stupid people from using it as a skin lightening cosmetic treatment, so actual users of standard photographic chemistry cannot have it shipped. If its in a sealed package of D 96, sure, no problem. The same stuff packaged by itself, nope.

The past year I enjoyed using Tom A's look of Kodak XX with Adox Borax M-Q replenished but since I lost all my chemistry (and newly built darkroom) to the Lahaina inferno I am on the search. D-96 is very close and with lovely results but one shot or 'time-adjusted' reuse is not my preferred style.

Of course I would not encourage anyone to break any regulations (even stupid ones) but at this point in my life I have been learning to graciously accept help and assistance. If anyone is passing thru Honolulu and has some to donate I would appreciate it very much. With Aloha, CP
