What are the currently available thermometers of equivalent calibrated accuracy (better than 0.25oC accuracy, ideally 0.125oC at colour process temps) as the Kodak Process Type 3? I'm aware the prices are likely quite painful.

I use this model from Kaiser: https://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/thermometers/kaiser_4086_precision_thermometer/6044_p.html
In part, it's to cross check one of those...
Fair enough. I've thought about moving over to a digital probe thermometer for day-to-day work but haven't really given it a huge degree of consideration.
I don't think that a thermometer that is only accurate to +/-2° is what the OP is looking for. I have a kodak process thermometer and have always found that the Patterson short-range thermometers are VERY accurate.I use this model from Kaiser: https://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/thermometers/kaiser_4086_precision_thermometer/6044_p.html
Just out of curiosity what is there that requires an accuracy of better than 0.25C and ideally as good as 0.125 C?What are the currently available thermometers of equivalent calibrated accuracy (better than 0.25oC accuracy, ideally 0.125oC at colour process temps) as the Kodak Process Type 3?l.

Thanks for the replyIt's a typo, the Kaiser is '+/- 0.2oC' but not certified traceably. The traceability is what adds to the cost - like calibrated step tablets.
C-41 developer is specified as '37.8oC +/- 0.15oC' and E-6 First Developer as '38oC +/- 0.3oC. The latter, once running, should be ideally held to +/- 0.2oC.
Whereas I am the opposite. I am not accurate but I am certifiedI bought Paterson Color Thermometer. Supposedly Accurate to + 0.14°C (+ 0.25°F) but not certified. .
