The Lomo LC-A is a cult point and shoot but you may not like that it is so. All of the cameras on your list have pros and cons, are you trying to choose one or is this just virtual collecting?

hmm...interesting. I took a look at a few flickr sets and they seem promising. I'll keep an eye out.

Fuji Klasse W (f2.8 28mm) and Klasse S (f2.8 38mm) are both still available new in Japan.

Ricoh GR21 (21mm) is truly a cult camera... if you can find one!

The Fuji Klasse cameras are still available new in Japan - for big bucks! Better off buying the Rollei version (AFM35) used. I got mine for maybe $150.

Certainly it is "uncoupled", especially considering it has no rangefinder at all...

When a well know photographer uses a certain camera it can reach cult status. Such as Daido Moriyama with the Ricoh GR1 and Yuichi Hibi with the Yashica T5.

I purchased a Ricoh GR1s in like new shape a few months back and it's a fantastic camera.

Regarding the GR1s, I got one about a year ago and it's my most used camera by a ratio of around 50:1. Really great camera, I especially like the ability to lock the focus at infinity and the no shutter lag snap mode. I normally set mine at +1/2 exposure compensation and I shoot 800Z and Neopan 1600 in it. It's so slim and light that I take it everywhere with me.

Neopan 1600 and Delta 3200 are my favorites in this camera. A company I deal with in Japan found this for me. Looked like it was never touched and came with the leather pouch, lens hood and wrist strap. I goes with me everywhere.

Why don't you have any folders on your list? Medium format that fits in your pocket?

If your looking for small 35mm, my wife just gave me her Kodak Cameo Motor EX that she used in High School and College, this thing is really cool it is a 35mm. plastic, motor drive, pocket, non bellows folder (it has a sliding box lens). It works with 100 to 1000 speed DX film, you might want to look at one, it is a lot of fun to shoot, and the Photos are not that bad.

The down side is that the lens looks to be about a 35mm to 50mm lens and the aperture is about the size of the pupil in my eye. and you only get the number of photos the roll of film says it can make, not one frame more.

Still a fun camera, and it's not something you would have to worry about someone taking because, come on, really, who would steel a Kodak?

The cheap plastic Minolta Hi-Matics don't get much cult love, but I really like the results I get from my AF2 and my S. I like the feel of shooting a rangefinder-like camera without having to use a hard-to-see rangefinder patch.

Yes. The manual focus is menu driven, you can set it to focus at .3, .4, .5, .6, .7, .8, .9, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0, 7.0 and 10.0 meters, and infinity. Once you turn the camera off, it will automatically reset to autofocus.
