It would be nice if TheSohnly revisited this thread to tell us what camera he chose in the end.
Regarding the GR1s, I got one about a year ago and it's my most used camera by a ratio of around 50:1. Really great camera, I especially like the ability to lock the focus at infinity and the no shutter lag snap mode. I normally set mine at +1/2 exposure compensation and I shoot 800Z and Neopan 1600 in it. It's so slim and light that I take it everywhere with me.
Speaking of cult cameras, I just noticed that there's a Fuji Natura S for sale at the moment for an incredible £520 ($840).
With the Klasse W can you lock the focus at varying steps?
