Cross Processing Kodak Gold in B/W Chemistry

Hi,

I am about to develop two rolls of Kodak Gold 200 in HC-110 today and was wondering if anyone has experience with this kind of Cross Processing. I have never tried any form of cross processing and maybe there are certain things to be aware of that I do not know about. I would have developed the rolls the same as any 200 speed b/w film (Ilford SFX 200?) maybe adding 30s of developing time (because the internet told me to do so). Is there anything else I should consider?

Over the previous weekend, I ran 16 rolls of 120 Tri-X in Pyrocat HD. I'm so thankful I have a Jobo or running that much film would be a pain in the ass.

I did something similiar, I developed a few rolls of Kodak 50D in b&w chems using a dilution & time of a similiar speed film/developer combo, in this case Ilford Pan F+ 50 in Kodak HC110

My routine was:
1: Develop rolls in Legacypro L110 (similiar to Kodak HC110), used Dilution E (1:47) and time of 5m 30s
2: Stop bath (distilled white vinegar & distilled water mix)
3: Used Photographers Formulary TF-5 fixer
4: Rinse film using Ilford method, then soak in Photoflo for 30 seconds

Overall, they came out fine. Most came out overexposed (my fault, the lightmeter I was using at the time was off) and on some parts I didnt get the remjet fully off.

Given the shortage of C41 films and the fact that everyone processed in b&w denies another consumer the opportunity to then use a C41 to make a genuine colour neg and colour print, shouldn't Kodak and Fuji insist that every sales outlet demand a written undertaking that each buyer commits in writing to develop in C41?

Well at least until we get over the current crisis

I have done cross processing with provia and velvia and other color films, fujicolor / chrome, agfachrome E100, none of the new KC200. I always develop in black and white chemistry. color processing is so over rated..
I find color film to be kind of gauche and a distraction .. the dye clouds in the film makes sweet grain too.
usually I use a staining developer with tannins and a active paper developer, they stain the orange mask and make it easier to print.

Hi short update!

I developed and scanned the rolls. Development times where those of ilford SFX + 30s of development time and the scans turned out fine! Thank you all for your comments and help
