Glad to see the link Lee...nice to see some more of the work. Having seen the Mission prints, it just makes me want to see the rest from the link above. Now let's see if I can identify some of them, looks like one print came from the old T&P building, have no idea wihich slot canyon that is, the mission doorway I've seen, is the next one of one of the painted churches? Bottom row, hmmmm! know I should know that fella but can't put a name to him, next one is easy - was there yesterday..nice pic btw (I should do so well - sigh!), next one looks like Big Bend, last one ? This is for those that might be interested.

BTW - like the avatar, that's not Jorge with you (just kidding Jorge).

Saw the mag on Friday but had forgotten my wallet.
Looked in the usual bookstore for it today, but the clerk said they already sold out :surprised: !
Look out tomorrow, I'll search all of T.O. if I have to!
Congrats to Sean and all chosen artists, a big thanks to Brian (for all the help I knew nothing about) and a small poo poo to me  for not trying harder!
Can't wait to get my hands on one now...

The striking fellow with me in the Avatar is not Jorge but my loyal companion Rance the Wonder Dog. He is in charge of ranch security here at Casa de Carmichael. Part Blue Heeler and Part Australian Shepard. Way smarter than I am.

There's a preponderance of landscape and still-life images, at least judging by the images in the contributor's galleries. Is this a preference of the magazine or a preference of APUG?

Helen, the only preference I've seen in B&W is that the photos are in black and white and non-digital. They center more on the photographer and present examples of his/her work, whatever the subjects may be.

That's what I love about them. No agenda other than traditional B&W.

Helen,

I don't have anything online. Still working on the whole digital area. I do mostly the boring landscape stuff. With the exception of Lee, whom I've exchanged prints with for a few years, the only print APUG has seen is the one in the traveling portfolio. I guess that's the basis for me being asked. Anyhow if anyone is interested in my kind of work I'm always up for an exchange.

Well I got the news from Ian Greant as soon as I got back into town. Congratulations to all that were chosen.

I feel honored to be included in such talented company and have to thank Sean in particular for creating APUG and giving me an outlet for my art. Also thanks to Brian for his hard work in herding the cats so to speak.

The talent contained with the digital walls of APUG is amazing. Not a day goes by that I don't sit back and just go WOW at some new photo posted in the gallery.

I have never been able to find this mag locally, even in London. I get an erratic supply when anyone goes through Amsterdam(Schipoll) airport.
Where is your local Borders?
