The posters look amazing, thank you John for the design work and Bob for their printing. Now for those of you who now have posters and you know who you are. Please pm me where you have hung up a poster i.e. Henry's Mississauga so we can keep track where they are and a rough idea how much exposure they get.

There's one in Downtown Camera on Queen street and one in the Loomis & Tooles on Danforth at Woodbine. The Toronto Camera Club will have one in their window tomorrow. Eight Elm was closed by the time I got there. If anyone can get a poster there before Friday the would be great, if not I'll drop one off then.

I got posters up today at Henry's camera store in Mississauga, the Loomis Art Store, (I also got told that it's not called Loomis & Toles anymore), and the Camera Exchange in Georgetown, and the main branch of the public library in Mississauga. Tomorrow I will get the Curry's art supplies on Queensway in Miss'ga and before the weekend I will drive out to Hamilton and get one up at Mohawk College.

We need to get some in to Guelph and Kitchener/Waterloo and Orangeville as well. Maybe Ian in Brampton could do Orangville?

From the reception that I have been getting I think you guys better fasten your seatbelts ) !

Kevin at KHB Photografix was kind enough to allow us to post one in the foyer of his place. I don't know if any of you have dealt wth him or his company, but they are truly great to their customers.

My apologies for not getting more posters up, I will have more time once Valentine's Day is over.

I got the owner of GreyHound Photography in North Brampton to put one up in his shop. I also have given one to Henry's on 10/Vaudon, but am waiting for the manager to approve (he wasn't in at the time). Will also hit the 4 local libraries, hope to do that before the weekend. Still no word from the local camera clubs, might be out of action.
I talked to a manager in a Blacks store and was told the poster would have to approved by head office in Markham. He also noted that the sponser Fujifilm is the owner of Black's Photography, and doubt's there would be a problem.
He gave me his card with the 1-800 no. for customer service. Anyone here good at telephone sales, or in the Markham area? (I'm not the most patient of callers). PM and I'll give ya the number.
I may be able to get to Orangeville on the weekend, but don't know the town very well. I have a friend in Peterbourgh on weekends and Toronto during the week. She might be willing to pick up a couple posters on her way home, and put them up out there.

I got one up at Curry's art supplies in Mississauga today. I am hoping to get to Mohawk college before the end of the week. They have a large photography program there with a big Continuing Ed. program so there should be a lot of good candidates for workshops.

Bob,
Any posters going to the USA I'll pick-up from you and mail from my side of the border.

Meanwhile, to all those who have been out there papering the landscape with the conference posters...

There's a poster up in Arday Camera in Troy Mi. and the manager asked for others to put up in their other branches. I'll be by on the weekend Bob to pick up some more posters. I'm going to hit Midoco art supplies on Queen in the beach and the library as well.

A mass email should be going out to the members of Toronto area camera clubs soon.

I got some up at Woolfitt's, Henry's Downtown and the Brass Rail.
O.K. so I made that last one up, although I am sure that they have a few posters they would like to put up at the conference.

Now, you are DA MAN! The entertainment at this conference was pretty light anyway. I mean who wants to see Bob cook hotdogs and John play a horn? I am not worthy....

O.K. so I made that last one up
You are such a tease! Must have picked that up at the rail.

Regards, Art.

To whom it may concern

I don't know who is responsible for distribution of the posters but London area is loaded with photographers
Stan C Read still offers all chemicals and supplies to the Photography students of Fanshawe Collage.
Our camera club has 120 members. Just a taught. If you want I can distribute probably 5 or 6 in London area or more.

Let me know

I gave a copy to one of the guys that work at Eight Elm and he's going to ask the owner on Monday to post it.

The email went out to the Toronto Camera Club on Wed.

I can also try to canvass the photo stores in Montréal if someone wants to send me some posters.

Would it help to have a French version?

It could indeed make things more palpable. A bilingual version would be ideal, as it caters to both linguistic realities and saves the paper.

I have one up in the Green Bean in downtown Oakville. Its a high end coffee house/cafe/lunch/desert place on Lakeshore and gets regular traffic from a wide demographic. The owner was only too happy to assist us in our cause.

Hi Bill and Others

The flyers are ready this weekend. I am picking them up tommorow and meeting John on Thurs in London.

We need to meet Sat if possible and start the distribution of the flyers.
Bill , I think we need a Ontario and surrounding Province and State map to line up where we actually have posters to follow up with flyers.

As well anyone in the Toronto and surrounding states / provinces who can help us get the conference Jpegs to their club /associations membership via email , would be wonderful. Most clubs have filters to stop advertising therefore direct links are needed and extremely helpful.
