Ciao from Italy!

Hi all, I am a new member from Italy. I am a researcher at the Computer Science department of the University of Verona. Verona is the city of Romeo and Juliet, and it is not so far from Venice.

I learned photography with a Pentax P30n at the age of 12. Most of my current work is on digital with a K20D, but I still have some 35mm stuff that I use from time to time, and I recently discovered the beauty of medium format with a Pentax 645N.

I booked airline tickets to Venice yesterday afternoon - Plan on scaring the natives with the 5x4 late March 2012. I may well come picking your brains for good spots to go shooting in the New Year.
