I'm currently visiting NW Arkansas and SW MIssouri. I've hit Wal Mart in Cassville, MO and they had one three pack of Fuji Superia 400 (made in Japan) left for $22 which I picked up.

Nothing at Wal Mart #1 (Rogers, AR). My niece works there and asked around, they had a shipment and it sold out.

Wal Mart SUpercenter Branson, MO had two three packs of Superia 400, again Made in Japan $22 per pack. I bought both.

I'm also informed from my favourite shop back home in the UK that they're finally expecting a delivery of over 100 rolls of Kodak Gold next week. With ongoing deliveries likely.

If you happen to get down to Batesville, AR, let me know and we’ll share a beer

Sadly for our purposes the furthest I'll go this trip is Fort Smith, maybe next time. I'm flying out of XNA on Saturday morning, only spending a week here. Hoping to be over for longer in a couple of years. Would have been nice to meet you and talk glass plates.

Just a heads-up that I've been able to find 3 packs of Kodak Gold 200 24 exp, and 3 packs of Fuji Superia Xtra 400 36 exp at some Walmart stores in Southern Ontario over the last couple of weeks. The Gold 24exp 3 packs were going for around $24Can, and the Fuji 400 36exp 3 packs were around $27Can. They haven't been available anywhere for the last few months, so I was surprised to see some new stock recently.

Not exactly the cheapest, but cheap in terms of fresh E6 slide film. Re-spooled Ektachrome 100D, do you feel a bit euphoric already?

I was looking around at MPEX and I am starting to think I am done with B&H....

MPEX is a nice full service camera store just north of downtown Columbus, OH. I've been there. Chock full of new and a great selection of used film gear. Worth the trip if you're ever in town.

That's where I've been buying from for quite a while now. Cheaper than B&H, and in stock when B&H often is out.

I don't get the B&H fascination, especially given how poorly they package their shipments.

If you use B&H credit card, you do save on CA sales tax (which is fast approaching 10%). That's a lot for big ticket items. And free expedited shipping for orders over $49. Those are the main reasons I still shop majority of stuff from B&H, if they are available.

But for film and chemistry, I do use ultrafine and freestyle regularly.

You can get that too from other stores like Roberts Camera etc. When I bought my D850 back in the day, Roberts had it to me in 3 days w a free spare battery, while the waiting list at B&H was months long.

I just placed an order from B&H because they have free shipping to Canada above USD 100, haven't seen this on other sites. Shipping is by UPS and fast. Most stuff is cheaper then in Canada, not all though. The easy sales tax included checkout is also nice, since UPS/Fedex/DHL add usually 10-30 CAD processing fees to the 14.95% tax (Quebec + federal), while B&H adds about $1 only.
So from a Canadian perspective for items which are more expensive in Canada, B&H wins.

This is exactly why I get my film and other items from B&H more often now. Canadian sellers charge almost twice as much in the long run. I understand people wanting to support local businesses, but my purchases are so little, that I just go ahead and save a little when I do buy. Camera gear I buy from a Canadian dealer, and lately that has been Camera Canada. They offer free shipping, which is by mail, so it goes to the post office where it wont get stolen on my doorstep. And they also save 1 of the two taxes buying from them, instead of a BC dealer. On an expensive purchase, that is hundreds of dollars.

Made in Japan. And all my fresh Fuji 200 also says Made in Japan.

So you have Fujifilm 200 (and not C 200) in the new boxes with printed "Made in Japan" on it?
And it is fresh stock?
Could you please share a photo of it?
That would be very nice, and thank you in advance!

I've only seen the "Made in USA" version here.

That is really interesting!
So that film - Made in Japan - is named "Fujifilm 200" and not like the former well known Japan made "Fujicolor C200".
Right?
As it is "Made in Japan" it cannot be the Fujifilm 200 "Made in USA" which is Kodak Gold 200.

Is there a new data sheet for it? I could not found a new one.....has anyone found a new one or has more info?

Not really. I should have a pack of "Fujifilm 200" that's made in the USA. Will check once I get home.

I know that there is also the "Made in USA" Fujifilm 200 version. Please read my post.
That is rebranded Gold 200, we all know that.

I want to know what film (in technical terms) is in the Fujifilm 200 "Made in Japan" boxes.
Is it the well known, long established Fujicolor C200?
But if it just that, why then a new name? Why not keeping the established C200 name?
And if it is a new emulsion, a new formular, where is the new datasheet?

It is probably branded that way for the North American market.
Just as other films are sometimes branded for different markets.
In some cases, the various versions differ slightly, due to market preferences.
And in other cases, films that were available internationally, get discontinued in all but a few markets, so the branding becomes market specific.

@MattKing and @brbo .
Thanks, but as already explained two times, I know all that.

I am interested in the just recently appeared new "Made in Japan" Fujifilm 200.
I have not found a data sheet for it.
I have not found anyone who has tested it against former C200 and the rebranded Gold 200 version.
I would do that (tests) myself, but the Made in Japan version is not (yet) available in Europe.

"Made in Japan" Fuji 200 has been around* for a while now and data sheet has been available for 10 months.

* Not much (if any) has made it over to Europe though. Same as any other 135 Fuji C-41 film apart from privately imported Color 100 and Supreme 400.
