So your one of those who still did not yet read Sean's explanation that says that Photrio is the "combination" of three forums.
Thus when I mingle at an analog-only forum, I am still at Apug, and when I welcome a new member seemingly only interested in analog matters I do so as a member of Apug.

That analog-only thing was the reason I joined, and if this is being cancelled it will be the reason I shall leave.

Ladies and gentleman, exhibit A.

This thread is now #4 in google search results for CatLABS X Film 320 Pro only behind CatLABS, PetaPixel, B&H and Blue Moon. Look at what people get to read about CatLABS X Film 320 Pro 🤨.

And yet we are the only ones that provide real actual user photo samples!
woo hoo!

p.s. B&H is way more expensive than other sources. People, shop around whatever you are looking for!

Do Google searches return hits from social media? I thought news and discussion of CatLABS' new film was supposed to be spreading like wildfire on social media where real photographers gather. If anyone has a link to some extended discussion on social media, please post it.

Yep. Page 2 on the google search results. FB, youtube, reddit etc

Hold onto your hats people, this means we have more powah than Zuckerberg! At least for giving Catlabs exposure…

The CatLABS 35mm film listed by B&H at $9.00/roll and backordered is not the new Pro film. It is the rebranded Kodak 5222 they were offering in 2019.

Fyi I get a nickel from catlabs every time I post to keep this thread going.

Are you sure that it is a real ISO nickel - it might actually be a 3.2 cent nickel? 😈

Many of us in the US have a jar full of Canadian nickels; some 7 cent dimes and 22 cent quarters too!

Sorry, I couldn't bear listening to that video on YouTube featuring the dynamic duo of Mr. Holga and Don. It was over 38 minutes long, and two minutes in my finely honed intuition told me they were unlikely to shed any light on the meaning of EI ISO.

All of the reserve guard was called in when the cool kids of Photrio suggested that Photrio Apug was irrelevant.

As google will now show, the news of Photio death was greatly exaggerated. Phew, it was close, though!

$9.00 a roll! It is now £10 a roll at the U.K. site Analogue Wonderland, I have an idea of why the word "wonder" was used but each of us no doubt has his own idea of why it is part of the name of that site

$9.00/roll was what CatLABS was charging for the rebranded Kodak 5222 it sold back in 2019.

£10/roll at Analog Wonderland is for the new CatLABS Pro version of unknown provenance. With Ilford HP5 running £7.25/roll, I am guessing the CatLABS film is not exactly going to be flying off the shelves. Most of the black and white films at Analog Wonderland are even less expensive.

I think it is for ‘I wonder why they are so expensive?’

Interesting point 😁😁 It might also be because they can be so expensive and still sell all these "new" analogue films, each of which is special in whatever way is required to get the YF&S( young free and single) newcomers to part with their money

I can get three rolls of Catlabs delivered from Amazon for $39.68. Jeff Bezos thinks I should do it but I'm conflicted!
Bezos also sells three rolls of HP5 delivered to prime customers for $27.99.

If you buy the film directly from catlabs‘ website, three rolls is $31 shipped w tax.
Which happens to be the same as the HP5 once you add tax (at least for me in California).
