@joe_laroids

I had removed the shutter unit from a T90 during a dissection to investigate the sticky bumper.

If you need replacement screws or other parts, I can send them to you. I have plenty of defective T90s in stock here.

Please continue this investigation and sharing your knowledge with us! I already learned so much more about the issue here than anywhere else. I really want to know how we could fix these beautiful old cameras. I just bought one for myself with "EEE", as I really love tinkering with old and "broken" stuff and I don't really mind if I fail. But if there is a chance to do a proper fix on them, that would be wonderful!

@joe_laroids was ahead 🙃

I think it's the shutter magnets that aren't separating, cleaning them should help, like with the mirror magnet. But Joe also discovered broken plastic parts in the shutter.

With the T90, the path to the shutter is a long one, as it is wrapped in with multiple circuit boards. But with concentration, disassembly and assembly should be manageable.

These sources give the instructions. It's a lot of soldering work:

I would like to do that in the near future, but I am currently busy with Minolta AF.

These are really helpful, thank you! I'm gonna let you guys know, whether I can or cannot fix the "EEE" error.
