Can you help me identify a Linhof monorail?

Hi all! I just bought a Linhof 4x5 monorail and wondered if anyone could help identify the exact model so I can look for a manual?

On top of the metal part of the rear standard, under the Linhof badge, it says 'Color' and then on the part of the rear standard that holds the ground glass it says DBP.

On the bottom of the rear standard near where it clamps to the rail, it has the serial number 5137.

Great, cheers - I got confused because the ebay listing called it a 'technika' - but I don't think it is actually one of those?

Technikas are always either field-cameras (dropbed-cameras) or press-cameras, never a monorail-camera.


But upper parts of both standards of this Color model are from or resembling those of a Technika.

Yup, looks like a color kardan. Kind of a hybrid with a technica type of rear and front with limited movements on a monorail.

Doesn't look like it! Mine has a black textured finish with bare metal showing through the scratches.

The originals were black, later ones cream.

You've been misled by an ignorant eBay seller. The camera on offer is a Linhof Color.
