agree with modafoto, I'd like something simple [like this draft] without luddite or elitest labels

Something like this'll probably be the plan in the end...finding consensus on one saying to write on the shirt after APUG.ORG may be impossible. If we keep it simple, then whoever wants anything extra on their shirt can take it to the T-shirt shop in the nearest mall (every mall has one, right?) and get whatever they want put on it themselves.

I like the idea of using one of Seans negatives with borders etc and with just APUG.ORG on it.

I think that would be very eyecatching, unique and a salute to Sean

Beautiful! Great!

Hint: contact the B&W Magazine or another "non-digital or what ever ink" magazine for making a deal... or some paper manufacturer
f.e: for distribution over the world
f.e: a 'for free' t-shirt when subscribing
and so on...

I submitted these to Sean a few minutes ago...and am going to simplify for embroidery (lettering smaller than 14pt type doesn't read well in stitches). I'm not assuming anyone will like, just covering the bases.

I prefer a heather/stonewashed grey or green or slate blue myself, and will most likely produce my own anyway, but what the heck.

Now, on to real work and more APUG designs to follow.

P.S. the PDF shows the "logo" better than the grey shirt mock up...

Variation/combination

Based on earlier submittal. Shirt color is approximation as well...
More print type categories???

Edit - re-attached with correct spelling...

Thanks guys...I've put off two client logo designs this morning to play with this...I must be one of them obsessive compulsive photographic types...

Nah...

More to follow when I get caught up.

I love this design! To me this is the clear winner! I like the simple black T-shirt with the white text.
