That you choose to dislike digital on emotional basis, is fine, but don't try to pretend that there is a logical reason, or that just because you don't like them they are hence inferior.

I don't dislike digital at all, and I never really said so. I'm indifferent to digital. I think you may have missed my point; perhaps you would like to reread me here:

For the purposes of traditional photographic process, shooting black and white film is vastly superior to digital conversions, because digital conversions are not traditional photographic process at all.

Here I'm defining traditional photographic process as black-and-white film, which the topic is about.

Before you can think about the relationship between black and white film and digital conversions to black and white, you first have to have a good handle on you mission statement and what it is that you are trying to do artistically. Basically, if you have to ask the question, the question cannot be answered for you, because it's not an objective question.

I never said that. I mean that digital cameras are not proper cameras for my purposes, which is to expose film with. The only "real" kind of film camera is one that takes film! Digital cameras are different altogether, and make very poor film cameras, I'm sure you'll agree.

Digital cameras are a tool to accomplish something, and they solve many problems inherent to film technologies.

Absolutely! And they shoot in color! It's great!
