Just got my roll too! I am going to have a field day with this beautiful film (couldnt resist the pun Field).

Too large to fit a Watson, will be hand rolling this stuff till it gets 100 or so feet.

Mark you are fast out the gate! Think you might take the cake as the Cinerex challenge winner!

Thanks!

150ft will fit just fine I believe. Take a piece of toilet paper roll or something, tape on end to it, and then wind onto it till you have half and half. Obviously you have to cut to width.

If you like to pre-wash, it takes a few times to run the pink all the way out. (hot pink at that) If you pre-wash you get a more brown color, if you don't you'll get a pink color. I can't tell the difference for print/scanning all that well, but I always prewash?

Wow, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Film!

Just bulked my first...

Thread for test results

I've started a thread for test results and recommendations with this film.

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

My quick test roll looks good; I'll post my initial thoughts at that thread in a couple minutes.

Thanks Mark, just want to give a shout out to Field, the film arrived and is not fogged or anything, a great guy to trust. Posted a neg scan of a test roll at Mark's thread above...

I'm so glad this stuff is getting used. To think at one point in time some hosptial was like, "shit I dunno what to do with it" !?!?!

Remember open to some trades too.

PM'ed just in case there is any more left! This sounds like a fun film to shoot.

Post some pictures in this thread when you do.

Spotmatic

No, not really. I've decided using an adapter is fine. I thought Spotmatics had auto-aperture but only some of them do. That sorta changed my mind.
