Bronica RF645 flange focal distance

Can a RF645 user check the distance between the film plate and the front of the lens flange? Couldn't find the info online. Might be tricky to measure because of the baffle? Thanks in advance.

You were correct in it being a challenge. I get 43.92mm but not with confidence. I have a vague recall of a schematic in one of their catalog/fliers?

Thank you! I just needed a ballpark. That is quite a short distance for a MF camera but it should work. Planning to adapt the 45mm on a DIY build. Will the cells fit on a mechanical #00 shutter? I'll find out once I get it. The ETR lenses do fit on #0 shutters so there is hope.

The answer is no. This RF645 lens has a custom arrangement to attach the optical groups.

I'm very curious about what you tried to do!

Did you notice if the lens uses a floating element design, or is it a straightforward unit focusing design?

I opened it up and saw that the mounting threads were completely different from a mechanical shutter. Using the lens in it's original barrel would be tricky since both aperture and shutter are controlled electronically. I believe the lens is unit focusing.

Speaking of the RF645, might seems to be getting tight when advancing the film, so I am concerned about the winding failure that seems to be common with this camera. I understand there's a solution - to loosen a screw on the film side gets fractionally tightened every time film is advanced, but I am not clear on how to go about this.
