Does anyone know if there was ever a PC lens made for this camera? If so has anyone here ever used one? I checked Robert Monaghan's site and found a PC gizmo for use with a Bronica camera but no lenses.

The picture I have posted for you in the non gallery is of a 55m Schneider Super Angulon PE shift lens for all Bronica E series cameras. The glass, being made by Schneider of Germany, has been reputed to be the sharpest lens ever made for any Bronica camera system. It has vertical and horizontal shift, and vertical tilt. It is considered to be supreme for architectural work but can also be used for landscapes as well. The lens is extremely heavy as it is an all metal construction and it should not need saying... very expensive. The image is of an item that sold on eBay recently for a mere 750 UKP ($US 1340) ($CDN 1763)

What a nice lens!

I'm glad I can't afford one now - I know what my wife would say:
"You have a 40mm wide-angle for the Bronica already?" Yes, but not PC...
"You have LF for the PC?" Yes, but not 55mm...
"You have two super-Angulons already?" Yes, but not for MF...
"You have a MF film holder for the 4x5?" Well - allright, maybe I don't need one after all...

EXCEEDINGLY should just about cover it, yes ...

Thanks for the information Jeff, and Ole - your wife's reasoning sounds pretty close to what I'll be up against trying to justify this one. Maybe I will just stick to a rollfilm back on my LF camera.

Ole,
Your wife does seem knowledgable in a bad way.

My wife, on the other hand, is unknowledgable in a bad way.

I'm told, "You can buy some more equipment when you start selling some pictures!"

many roads to the same answer. sigh...

Tom (and others with strict wives)

I've got an idea! Let's all start buying each other's pictures in order to justify buying new equipment. If we all do it, the money just gets passed around.
