Hello everyone! Now that summer is well over (at least in the northern hemisphere), garden work and vacations are almost forgotten, it seems like a great time to hit your darkroom!

Yes, it is time again to sign up for the new installment of the Blind Print Exchange (BPX). However, if you have not fulfilled your obligations for one of the previous BPX exchanges, please try to do so before signing up. Please check with your recipient for up to date address. If they don't respond within couple of weeks, you are off the hook - they must have moved on.

So: we're off for the new BPX22 - the signing up has opened !!!

Please read the sticky FAQ if you are new to the exchange. If you want to sign up, PM me your full real name, email address and your complete mailing address (where to receive a print). Don't forget the country! Please use the subject: BPX22 signup.

For BPX22: We have an experimental change this time around. I will send you three addresses. First one is a must do for this exchange. The other two are optional, only if you happened to make extra prints, and would like to make a present. The optional addresses are just that, optional, don't feel obligated at all!

FAQ:
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Please remember the important dates:

Signup: ending on the on the 31th of January 2016.
Print and Send: February and March. April is for rest and relaxation for all, and for me to send nastygrams with reminders to the laggards

If you run a bit late, we don't mind. There can be a myriad of reasons. Just let me know. If you can’t fulfill your assignment let me know ASAP, so I can assign it to someone else or work out an other solution: someone is waiting for a print in his mailbox too. So communicating is very important! You can always PM me.

Please do complete obligations from previous rounds before signing up. I’ll post here when the signing up period is closed. After that I’ll shuffle the names an will send everyone a PM with his assignment.

OK, let's get the entries in, and have FUN!

BTW, although you can't send your print before February, nobody is keeping you from already hitting the darkroom and making some fine prints right now ...

Eugene.

P.S. I do need PMs as described above!!!

Hi anikin,
Thank you for taking over the MSA and rebooting it. It was about time to get it reinstated but my personal life isn't giving me the space to do it myself. However, I would like to participate in this round for I do have a print that I can send out already (3 copies of that print, that is). So I'm in for three prints to be send out.

I'll PM you.

Please count me in!

May be you could add your own address as a fourth, optional one, so that those who would like to send YOU a gift could do so, because you're taking the trouble to organize..

I'll send my address via PM.

Dear Eugene,

> will send you three addresses. First one is a must

in the postcard exchange printers were stimulated sending Ilford an extra card. Ilfort supports APUG. Would it be an idea to send Ilford fine prints too?

(Just a thought)

Hi Uwe,

Yes, that's a good idea if possible. However I really did not want to impose that much. International shipping is rather expensive these days and even these two extra addresses might be too much for many. That is why I made them optional. However, if anyone has extra prints and wishes to thank Ilford for their unwavering support for the film community, please do so without question!!!!

Eugene.

Bump-bump...

Exactly half-month left before the end of sign up!!!

Bumpy-bump...

If you already signed up, maybe it's time to mix up that special developer recipe you use and select the negative for printing!!!

Bumpity-bump...

... Here is Edward Bear coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way…

Check, and check...

Have already pulled my one pound stash of glycin powder from the freezer and mixed up four liters of Ansco 130. Negative has been selected.

Now all I need is for the Seahawks to stop winning games in the playoffs every weekend.

Yikes! Did I just say that??

No special developer, but the negativ has been selected, and I even have a "pilot" print. Now to decide what look the print should have...
