Are you sure? I don't think I ever mailed polaroids. Most certainly not to the blind print exchange...

I guess HeatherC meant: "from AndreasT"
Your assignment was Myxine. :whistling:

Maybe everyone can post the image he sent (after it is received) here in this thread or in the "General Print Exchange Gallery".
See: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
(and don't forget to mention BPX20 in the title when uploading)

Yesterday I came back from a long trip to Asia and a great surprise awaited me at home. A set of three prints from HeatherC! Two lumen prints - one of a leaf and another of a flower branch. Very neat! I have never seen lumen prints. Now, I have a question: is it still light sensitive? What do I need to do to take care if it?
And the third print is my favorite - holga photo of an old truck done on a metallic paper. It has a real unusual look and metallic paper makes it very special. Thank you! This is one of the best prints I have gotten in BPX ever.

Eugene.

wow! blow me away!

this is historic - how 'bout a print involves the Queen, (yeh, that one), coffee, a birthday, 2 kids, flowers, steam pumps, river locks, and driving!!!!! really!

well, i received a wonderful print from andrew carson/oxleyroad "flower - 11 june 2012" on linen paper. the orwo film was developed caffenol in river water! the print developed in a more "traditional" lith developer... but of course the van dyke brown print had to be exposed by contact printing in sunlight! :wizard::wizard:

and a wonderful write-up to explain it all!

a true marriage of art and craft and i will treasure it! thank you andrew!

My prints going to the post office tomorrow. I won't enrol for the next round as life's unforeseen circumstances get too many people off side. I do apologise to my receipient for being late.

When my prints arrive I do look forward to constructive criticism.

please see my notes regarding your print....

your apology is not needed... life happens, and i am certainly glad you participated in this round - and i will be enjoying you artistry and hard work for a long while...

i do think it's important to meet deadlines... tho' i am often not that good at it with my photography. it takes integrity to fulfill on your commitment, even after the deadline has passed... that is much more important in my mind. charity helps, we all fail sometime... life is hard enough without the additional angst!

thanks...
