Just finished the packaging, now all that is needed is the posting.

I hope I can send it on or before Saturday. I'll post here again when it's on its way.

Faster than I anticipated...

My print is in the mail, on its way to its recipient.
It's crossing some water, but it's not a huge trip, so I guess it should arrive within a week or so.

What's next? Ah yes, the Postcard Exchange. Time to start working on that one.

Thanks, David. In the meantime I don't know whether or not you have checked out (there was a url link here which no longer exists). You make a print(s) and then post that you would like to offer them to trade. Or browse those already posted and offer trades in exchange for what they have. I am not familiar with all of the guidelines, but I do know that it is recommended you only offer 'completed' prints. So check it out.

Or, just send someone else a print. Just for the heckuvit.

We have 27 participants. 10 confirmed sent. 5 confirmed received. Not half bad. Keep it up.

Davids image had a good landing today in my mailbox. A nice little image which made me smile. Thanks David I like it.

So my image for this exchange went out with my images for the alt and the group print exchange. All those images found their way but the one for this exchange seems to be lost.

Cheers

Whew!!!

ok, finally i fedexed mine yesterday. should reach destination this weekend. ( when do we start with round 11...?)

Got the print David, it's wonderful!!! Unfortunately, customs had to open it and despite the description you put as a photograph they liberally applied a box cutter to it.

Fortunately, they only slice the back side of the mat board and the picture side was saved.

It's an awesome print and it will hang on my living room wall for a long, long time. Makes me want to get a Leica. Thank you very much!!!

Best,
Randy

Ha ha, now that someone else received also a David image I realized that my David image is for the postcard exchange. Still thanks to David and I go over into waiting-mode again.

Hello,

I received Friday (sorry for the late feedback post) a wonderful print from Kraker (Netherlands).
It is a wonderful print, Kraker, and I am very admirative of one being able to produce a high quality print with a temporary set up. The composition was interesting, and the deep rich blacks beautifully rendered. I like MGIV glossy and cold tones  well done.
I did appreciate the accompanying letter, because it is very helpful to reframe the photograph within one's context.

I agree with your comment re: flattening the print. And I am sending you a PM with regards to this.

I will be sending my print out this week, I'll confirm when it is in the post.

Hmmm...at what point do we assume the prints were lost in the mail? I sent mine 2 weeks ago and it was only traveling a couple states.
I sent out mine Feb 10th and have not heard back from the receiver. At the same time some other prints were sent and they all made their way. So either it is lost or the one I sent the print to has not found the time to confirm that the print arrived, how can I know. I think it is best to wait until the recipient complains before I send a second print.

Cheers

Unfortunately, not everybody in the past has adhered to the Please-Let-Us-Know policy. Hopefully that will change in this round. Give it time. More than likely, as Rudy mentions, an overlooked need to give feedback here on this thread. That's all. Don't worry.

Decent start to the round. If you are on one of these lists incorrectly please PM me. If you are listed correctly please do not PM me. I will assume that my info is correct. I will PM folks around the 25th for personal status updates.
