Im looking for a birthday present to myself.
My contact printing frame is 9x19 inch maximum paper size, slighlty more than 22x48cm.
I usualy buy full sheets 56x76cm Fabriano cotton paper.
I need a paper cutter that is atleast 56cm wide but can fit on 76cm wide table.
It has to be strong because I use paper up to 640 gr.
I was Looking at double rail duhle cutters but is there something better?
Im looking for a lifetime investment something realy sturdy. My only problem that I live in a small apartment and all my photography staff already take a lot of space. And my only table in house is 76x76cm. I dont have space for Free standing paper cutter. I will have to make multiple cuts to get 3 sheets of 9x19 paper from 56x76cm sheet of paper avoiding watermarks so some paper stopers woud nice.

It is actually Rotatrim, but I agree with the recommendation for quality and ease of use and I expect durability.

Dahle is best known for their guillotine cutters; but there are different quality levels of those. With Rotatrim, which is safer, get the dual rail model. (It's hard not to misspell it "Roto" - this is rotary trimmer season, buzzing the outdoor weeds down). I've been using both.

Rototrim.

I've used the larger Rototrim pros and so long as you're not cutting mat board, or multi sheets at one time, your golden, IMO.

Just be careful from hour one, to handle it correctly and store it as directed.

Brilliant cutters....& as Eli said....not for mat board.
I've got a 24" in my darkroom

Dahle rotary trimmers; select a version that suits your needs: https://www.dahle.com/trimmers/rotary
The main drawback of most rotary trimmers is that the bed is fairly short. If you want stops that give you more length than the bed can accommodate, you can make an extension to the bed from plywood or any other suitable material, and place your stops on there. Magnets work nicely for this.

The people suggesting Rotatrim probably don't realize that the brand is virtually nonexistent on the European market. If you buy a Rotatrim in the US or Canada, you buy a Dahle in Europe.

Sorry, but Rotatrim is a British company.

Been using a Dahle 520 for 4 years now and it’s been great! Would highly recommend.

I'm in mainland EU. If I shop here for a rotary cutter or another type of paper cutter, Rotatrim is either not on the list, or very far down, or only available trough specialty outlets. On the local equivalents of e.g. Amazon, Dahle is readily available, as they are in virtually every other retail outlet (online or brick & mortar).

I know that Rotatrim is well available in the US as I see them referenced all the time. I just pointed out that local availability varies across the globe. I don't know where their HQ is or where their products are manufactured, and IMO it's not really relevant for what I indicated. OP specifically asked for options readily available in the EU; that's what I commented on.

Rotatrim is a British company and their products are made there. Here is a list of global distributors... https://rotatrim.com/distributor
