I bought a pre-owned Berlebach Stativkopf 3D tripod head a few years ago and never used it. Currently, these are selling new for $360. They're very nice heads but I can't understand the pricing. I'm asking because I'll probably list it for sale on eBay soon and I'm finding it difficult to believe I could raise $250+ for it. BTW, I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.

You could list it on Ebay at $250.00 (or whatever you want) starting bid and if it doesn't sell then relist it. I have listed items that wouldn't sell, relisted at $50 less and they end up selling for more than the original listing.

You could also list it on here and then keep lowering your price every week, few days, whatever, until it sells.

is it a tripod that allows you to do 3D by shifting the camera? A shift head would add to the price and make it scarcer...assuming you can find a lot of folks who want to shoot 3d that way.

be wary of asking prices on flea-bay to determine value -- i recently priced Kodak retina iiic cameras which you can regularly see "selling" for $100-plus, sometimes a LOT of plus.

But click on the "completed sales" link, you see a lot that actually sold for $50 to $75.

You can ask any price you want. Actual sale determines value.

^^^ HERE is the head. It's very nice but I don't think it's worth $360 plus shipping new.
