Bergger Berspeed?

Spotted this: https://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/bergger-berspeed-film-developer-5-litre/p6648 - not being familiar with 'Bergger' products, the description makes it sound like a more expensive version of XTOL crossed with Microphen. Higher film speeds, and fine grain... I've not tried the 'Pancro 400' film, perhaps this developer is marketed for that product to produce good results at box speed or EI 800?

Is the the holy grail of fine grain with a speed increase and the added benefit of it being tailored to Bergger film? 10L at 1+1 but so is Xtol and at a cheaper price.

I remain sceptical of the ability to square circles.

Well yes exactly. I did a quick search and was also trying to establish the benefit of their 400 speed film over the more usual offerings from ILFORD & Kodak.
