If you're using CC Classic I highly suggest getting Negative Lab Pro and scanning with a DSLR rig. It's worth the small investment.
My initial intention was to use Negative Lab Pro and it looks to be versatile software from the You Tube videos I have seen. I am still waiting for my scanning kit from Negative Supply to come this month so I can start scanning. I have several thousand B&W 35mm and 120 negatives that I processed up until 2009 when I switched to digital.
The people at Negative Supply did provide me with a program called Film Lab App (for a desktop) and as it is free, I will try that first. Just got the Nikon Z7 and its 105mm macro lens for scanning negatives. I specifically chose the Z7, after looking at the Adobe LR site, because the Z7 but not Z7ii had true tether/capture with live view capability. Both cameras had the same sensor.
