The 553ELX is gone, whether temporarily or forever we will see. I left a bag somewhere, and when I returned, it was gone. Now I am chasing it.
That means that I will have to buy new body, poor me. I have shortlisted two 503s, which I find somewhat overpriced (as I dont need the WLF and the A-M screen), and a naked 500C/M which looks untouched. Alternatively, I could go down the Duracell rabbit role of buying another 553ELX, but mine might eventually return
So, let's celebrate the opportunity to make a trip to GASington Manor.
I just came back from another trip. Double-burdened with film and digital bodies - next time I will make up my mind what to take with me.
Well done! And much love for SWC!
500C not a fan. Mine gave me more trouble than anything else.
How "old" a Hasselblad body is depends on how much use it's had. Get an older but hardly used one and have it serviced, it'll work like new. The parts wear out from use, not from age. Well, unless you age it in a barrel of salt or something.
Lets say there are two bodies, both being used as a "daily driver" by a professional photographer. One is 50 years old, one is 30 years old.
Why exposed at 200?
despite the fact that it is fully manual.
