Me too. I have never forgiven them for retiring Acros Neopan — one of the least expensive B&W films — only to resurrect it 18 months later as Acros II at twice the price. I've never bought Acros II and never will.

I don't know about USA, but here in Europe, Fuji slide films have been sporadically available. But the small quantities any retailer gets, make them disappear as soon as they appear. Also, there are often strict limits by retailers, that they sell 2 or 3 rolls per client. The situation is far from "freely available".
