For those in the Atlanta area the High Museum has a large permanent exhibit of a portion of the museum's photography collection. My Brother and I visited it yesterday and were impressed by the scope of the collection. I saw works by William Christenberry; a Southerner specializing in rural subjects. I hadn't known of him before! Here's a link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Christenberry
The Museum also has an exhibition of Yayoi Kusama's works: https://www.high.org/exhibition/yayoi-kusama-infinity-mirrors/
Be aware that admission is via advance tickets, and viewing of the optical installations is limited to perhaps a minute.
