As one of the actual (proverbial) sheriffs here on Photrio, I'll merely say - move on from the politics everyone.
I clearly need a black hat, and a white hat, so that I can switch back and forth as needs direct.

Matt, you have your hands full with the social climate these days. Oh, can I mention "climate" or is that to political? 😉😉 Seems everything is tied to everything today.
Reminds me of "The Lawman" series of the late 50s and early 60s Apparently he was well intentioned as you can tell by the intro theme 😎

When and at what price do you think silver will peak at? I'm really curious as to what really is driving the price through the ceiling. Speculative investing? I saw that drive sugar prices up many years ago, but they did come back down some. The sad part about driving prices up is the fact they never come back down to what they originally were before they started to rise in the first place. Silver gets much higher I'll be using my Sony A7RII and won't be here anymore. What a shame for the film users of the world.

My wife is thinking of selling her mom's old twelve-person sterling silverware set. You can;t believe what it's worth today. We stopped using it 30 years ago. Who wants to clean all that silverware every time you use it?

You need to go to the right guy. Some refineries are so overwhelmed they aren't taking anything but pure. Sterling should be fine. The shop I visit told me that his refiner requires 90% silver minimum, so no 40%halves, war nickels or 80% Canadian. This is temporary I'm sure.

I'm going to be guarding my film fridge with my life! Of course I think I could shoot a roll a day for a year and still have plenty. I have a thousand feet of 70mm, that would keep me busy for year two.

I have enough sheet film for a while, but I could stock up on 120 film for sure. Kodak Tmax 100 and TMY2 are not a bad price at the moment. I might just have to dig out that sock with mad money in it out of my sock drawer.

I'm good on 120, and TMX and TMY-2 is worthy of raiding the sock for! Love the stuff!

I agree and I'm enjoying using it again. When Ilford was so much cheaper it was mainly what I used and liked it. For some odd reason Kodak 120 films are now more reasonably priced and I'll use those now.

I was going to buy three kilos at $32 an ounce or 1380.00us but I went into the hospital late that day and was kept a week or so and never got to go back the next morning.Thats right at when the current silver rise happened.

When you decide to take an action, act like there will be no tomorrow and get it done, you might have some regrets but the importance of a deal has its own rewards you might not see for a long while.
