I can probably make any date. I am filled with admiration for people who are sufficiently organized that they know what they will be doing on a weekend 2 months hence. It's Friday, and I have no idea what I am doing tomorrow...

Put me down as a definite maybe day-tripper. I usually have to work Saturdays but might be able to get special dispensation/a stand-in.

I have made a quick scan of all of the dates people cannot make. It appears that if this is to happen, some of us will be unable to make whatever date is selected in Sept/Oct.

Is there still an interest?

28/29 Oct still look do-able (apologies if I've missed someone out!). What do you think?

(Am offline for about a week after today, so leave me a room!)

I must have missed that one!

28/29th is OK for me.

This is the matrix as I make it: if it's correct (big IF) it looks like last weekend in October gets most votes. I'm asuming 23/24 Sept is earliest date possible now.

Code:
		Weekend
Who Sept	Sept Oct	Oct	Oct	Oct
		23-24	30-1	7-8	14-15	21-22	28-29

BarryWilkinson NO	NO	YES
FrankB NO	NO YES
Tom Kershaw	NO	NO	?	?	?	?
Dave Miller NO
Rob Archer NO NO
Bob F. YES	YES	YES	YES	YES	YES
Others ?	?	?	?	?	?

Cheers, Bob.

I've booked. They currently have seven double rooms available on that weekend.

I'm going to be offline for a few days, so will be in touch late next week.

Could we have some kind of schedule for the event? I will probably cycle to Yaxham Mill (its only about 10-15 miles from me) and I'd like to know the course of events, what time to arrive etc. Additionally, If there is going to be a trip to the coast or wherever I would be very greatful for a lift from the Mill.

Dead Link Removed Coming Soon...

We intend to arrive around 4pm on the Friday. At previous event Friday has been a get to know each other chat sort of evening. Hopefully the lighting will be good enough to veiw each others prints, so please bring some with you. Saturday should be an excursion to somewhere photogenic, yet to be decided, as will Sunday morning. Other than that anything goes. FrankB may entertain us with a Latvian clogg dance if we behave.

It's not quite as bad as all that. Anyway, get off the computer and back into your darkroom.
Can't: up to my eyeballs in IrDA Protocol specification documents. Got the hardware done (the easy bit - I hope: boards back next week) - now the IrDA stack... Luckily I'm adapting someone else's code and don't have to start from scratch.

If you switch on the telly and hear of an explosion and smoke coming from the Heathrow area, it won't be a terrorist bomb at the airport, it'll be my head that has exploded. :surprised:

Prolly get to the darkroom later though - still not done any finished prints from the Spring meeting...

Cheers, Bob.
