It's marked Gundlach Optical Co. Rochester, NY. Wide Angle 8x10

It has Waterhouse stops 0 to 5, with mounting flange, rear group thread ring is dented

This is out of my knowledge box, anyone have a rough idea of what it would sell for?

Thanks

List it on eBay with no reserve and let it find its own value...

Sure. Thanks.

It would be nice to know an approximate value though, wouldn't it?

It labelled 8x10 and its a wide angle, so that's in it's favour, but I have no clue whether its worth $25, 50, 100, or 200.

I already know its worth what someone will pay for it, but I have no clue what someone would pay for it. That's what I'm asking.

I purchased a similar Wollensak 8x10 wide angle lens recently for around $25, which I considered a steal, and have seen others sell for around $60-$80. It all depends on what the market will bear at the time you're selling it, of course.

It isn't a particularly desirable lens. The E.W.A. seems more sort after.

i had a 58mm unmarked stoltz stop/brass lens years ago
i used it carefree on a speed graphic ( maybe it was a tad longer than 58mm ? )
not sure what kind of lens it was but it looked kind of like yours ...
it didn't have any dings or dust, and i sold it for about 300$
good luck selling yours !

All good to know thanks. Slightly disappointed that it isn't worth hundreds!
