No one living within 20 or so miles of the Cape can believe they were a fake. The Saturn generated 120 decibels of sound at that distance and rattled objects like a mild earthquake. It was a bit over the top for any SFX studio at that time!

A friend of mine collects conspiracy material, and keeps his we-didn't-go-to-the-moon books right next to the we-went-and-found-alien-stuff-on-the-moon books. (Not to mention the tangentially related idea that we used alien tech from the Roswell crash to go to the moon!)
No, It would be the Earthy 16 Rule, the exposure would be by Earth light.Does anyone know what the exposure would be required on the surface of the moon sunlit side? Is it brighter than EV 15, sunny f16 rule?

No, It would be the Earthy 16 Rule, the exposure would be by Earth light.
Why, no. By sunlight and moonlight of course.
The earth is too far away to have an impact. Just like moonlight doesn't contribute much to sunlight and earthlight down here.
Besides, what possible reason could they have for faking
this monumental achievement by our government during a
time that the same government was under immense suspicion
and riotous near-revolt by its population over the highly
questionable waging of war in some little Asian country
whose name I forget at the moment because it pales in
comparison to the greatest human achievement in history
which was the Apollo Mission!
"... according to Harold Loden, Apollo 11 mission controller,
'The skin on the crew cabin [of the lunar module] was very thin,
and that was all done because of weight savings.' Another talking-
head added that, 'If you really took your finger and poked hard
at it, you could poke right through the outer skin of the spacecraft.
It was about the thickness of two layers of aluminum foil.' Project
Manager Thomas Kelly concurred, noting that 'the skin, the aluminum
alloy skin of the crew compartment was about 12/1000s of an inch thick.
Thats equivalent to about three layers of Reynolds Wrap that you
would use in the kitchen.' Dead Link Removed
Imagine! Anyone questioning the idea that our brave
heroes traveled a quarter of a million miles across the
vacuum of space, enduring radiation, micro-meteorites,
and 540° F temperature fluctuations. Pressing ever onward
in their intrepid pressurized space craft which boasted
a mighty aluminum hull having the thickness of 2 to 3
sheets of kitchen Reynolds Wrap! Why these lunar explorers
were so brave they even took off their helmets at times while
riding inside their little craft as it made its way to and
from the moon under the guidance of a computer system
nearly as powerful as a modern pocket calculator! It
boggles the mind that anyone would question such an
historic and obviously true event!

Yeah, whatever. The definitive site [clavius] for debunking this nonsense ...
And, one of many sites for debunking the clavius nonsense is:
