I've given up hope of every finding Acros for sale in the US so I bought these two rolls for $18. That hurts when 5 rolls of Acros cost me $24. I'm looking for ideas on how to develop this film in HC-110, dilution E. Acros did very well at 7 minutes at 20 C. Would this film be much different?

There's nothing about dilution E there.
For the most part, HC110 responds linearly to dilution changes. Doubling the dilution means doubling the development time and so on. This should give you reasonably good results, but some fine tuning may be needed.

This page states everything you need: dev time for Ilford Delta 100 in HC-110 dilution B, and conversion formula for dev times from dilution B to E.

Try it with 7:30min / 20C (@ ISO100) - good results even with Tetenal Ultrafin (not plus) 1+20 / 20C /10min. Good luck !

Delta 100 has been a nice film for my landscape work. I have it lab developed in XTOL, and am very pleased with the results. Sorry I can't help with HC110 information, just wanted to say that if you work with this film you can get nice results once you dial it in.

Yeah, I picked this up at a brick and mortar store. I got ripped off big time.
You didn’t get ripped off. You paid “convenience prices”. Sometimes that really worth it.

+1 for delta 100 in XTOL. I’ve only used that combo twice and it was with replenished XTOL, but was very happy with it. Both rolls were shot with a half frame camera, and I was happier with the prints from those than full frame prints with HP5! Pretty good film. Might try experimenting to see if I like that or FP4 better (another film I really like).

Have a look at Jason Brunner's article on HC 110. Here is the link: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/hc110-made-simple.101980/

I think he uses it at 1+50? He has a number of times listed for this developer.

Brian Shaw, you are so correct in the "convinience prices"!!! I do try to support my local brick and mortar store when possible. They do support film. Of the 19 employees, 11 still shoot film. But being both Dutch and Irish, I try to spend as little as possible.
